Antoine Marbach

Dynamic Film Producer and Creative Professional with over 18 years of expertise in international animated and live-action co-productions, contributing to the successful delivery of over 50 film and episodic projects.

My professional background spans a wide range of productions—from commercials and indie films to blockbuster movies. Since 2019, I have been working as a Client Producer and Creative Producer for international European animation (and occasionally live-action) projects.

With high interest for character-driven and thematic storytelling, I like fostering collaboration across teams, guiding projects through all phases, from initial financing and concept/IP development to creative production, talent negotiations, line production, and final delivery. 

A native French speaker fluent in English and German, I use my multilingual abilities to build cross-cultural teams. Leadership and problem-solving skills both enable me to excel in complex international projects : movies and episodic.

Backstory

From crafting a makeshift video camcorder from a shoebox at age 8 in France, to founding a post-VFX studio during the 2009 financial crisis and working on international co-production movies abroad, my journey as a producer has been a continuous learning experience.

Despite getting sidetracked by an international business education (2002-2006), I learned the ropes of filmmaking and storytelling on the job and through self-teaching. I started as a VFX coordinator, moved up to become a producer (2007-2010), co-managed a boutique studio (2010-2014), worked on blockbuster projects abroad (2014-2019), and now (2019 - Today) negotiate above-the-line agreements as a movie producer in cross-cultural contexts. 

This journey has transformed my narrow perspective into a more "big-picture oriented", problem-solving approach.

Today, as a producer, I've found my strength in blending management skills with creative storytelling — a fusion that reconnects me with my childhood passion for creating great movies.
